Since this is a fairytale about the Chinese people meeting with the western world in the early 20th century, we’ve chosen a special way to perform the whole fantastic atmosphere. The book is divided into east side and west side, and each side has different cover and design of its own. The east side contains a fairytale written in old Chinese fashion, and both the words and pictures are combined to match the traditional scroll paintings. On the other hand, the west side is more like the visual poem of the futurism, and the story is connecting with modern science.
